Aspire Rockbank’s Extravagant Open Day Event!
What a massive turnout at our highly anticipated Aspire Rockbank Open Day Event at the end of August. Despite the windy weather, we had over 900 people attend, marking it one of our biggest Aspire events to date!
We cannot wait to officially open our doors to the Rockbank community and welcome all the wonderful families in the area.

The Rockbank Open Day was packed with activities for children and adults of all ages. We had two talented face painters who brought each child’s creative ideas to life, transforming them into unicorns, tigers, fairies, and more. It was heartwarming to see the children’s smiles as they admired their new looks—and even a few parents joined in the fun!
Adding to the excitement, Aussie Wildlife Displays brought along a variety of scaly, cuddly, and feathery animals. Guests had the chance to hold non-venomous snakes, chat with a pink cockatoo, and even pet the crowd favorite, Ellie the wombat. The Aussie Wildlife team was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating facts about the animals.
The photo booth was another big hit, with guests enjoying silly photo sessions using a variety of props and costumes. We even caught some staff members taking a group photo together! The fun memories and photos from the day are sure to be cherished for a long time.
Our friends at Little Sports Heroes kept the energy high with a range of fun sports activities, including mini basketball hoops and a throwing target challenge. These activities not only gave the children a chance to practice their sporting skills but also provided something engaging for the older kids—making Little Sports Heroes a standout at our events!
With the weather being a bit dreary, the coffee and hot drinks van was a welcome addition. Serving up delicious hot drinks and snacks, they were a hit with our guests. We are grateful to the Wanderlust Coffee Van team for joining us and helping to make the event a success.

Joining us on the day were Special guests Elsa & Kristoff from Frozen! Elsa and Kristoff roved around the centre greeting the children and families with plenty of smiles on the children’s faces!
Families were also able to take photos with the pair, with many of the children beyond excited to meet their favourite Frozen characters!
