Aspire Riverfield Now Open - Meet the Team!

Jess is the Centre Manager at Aspire Riverfield. She has worked in early childhood education since 2008, beginning her career as a Room Leader before moving into Assistant Director and Educational Leader roles. For the past six years, she has followed her passion as a Centre Manager. Holding a Diploma of Children’s Services, Jess is dedicated to creating nurturing and supportive environments where children feel safe, inspired, and connected. She loves the supportive culture at Aspire, which already feels like her second family.

Jess’s leadership style is calm and supportive, built on trust and open relationships. She is passionate about the Circle of Security, ensuring every child feels welcome and that their home life and culture are reflected in the learning environment. Outside of work, Jess is married with two children and enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, whether at the park or camping on the weekends.

Shehan is the Assistant Centre Manager at Aspire Riverfield and has been working in early childhood education since 2023. With a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education, a Bachelor of Accounting, and recognition as a Chartered Business Accountant in Sri Lanka, Shehan brings a strong mix of educational and professional expertise to his role.

He began his career working directly with children and gradually progressed into leadership positions, leading to his current role where she supports daily operations, mentors staff, and helps create a positive and nurturing environments for children, families, and educators. He is passionate about fostering a positive team culture, mentoring educators, and maintaining strong partnerships with families to ensure every child feels safe and supported. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and going to the gym.
