Aspire Ramlegh’s Interactive Nursery Program

Early education for nursery-aged children plays a vital role in laying the foundation for their future learning and development. During this stage, children are highly responsive to new experiences, making it a critical time for nurturing their cognitive, emotional, social, and physical growth.
Aspire Early Education Ramlegh’s Koala and Joey Nursery rooms go above and beyond to provide top-quality care and learning experiences for your little ones. Read on to see how Aspire Ramlegh make the interactive learning experiences for their nursery children so special.
The Koala nursery children (6 weeks to 12 months) love exploring different sensory bottles that are filled with different objects and food items. Shaking and gripping each one with curiosity, this sensory activity engages their fine motor skills while discovering the textures and concepts represented by each bottle.
Recently the Koala children also enjoyed a sensory tray filled with a variety of materials, including sand, pom-poms, cupcake cases, and shredded paper. The children had a wonderful time exploring these textures, using their creativity to mix and manipulate the different elements. Their enthusiastic interactions encouraged imaginative play as they discovered how each material felt and could be transformed, enhancing both their sensory experiences and fine motor skills.
The Koalas children also had a blast with a chia seed activity during Space Week! They giggled as they explored the unique texture of the chia seeds, feeling the tiny, slippery beads between their fingers. Along with the seeds, they found astronaut and planet cutouts, sparking their imaginations as they pretended to journey through space. It was a delightful mix of fun and learning, fostering their curiosity about the universe!
The Koala children excitedly took part in a painting activity to welcome the arrival of spring. Surrounded by bright colours, they joyfully mixed the paints using both brushes and their hands, creating a colourful masterpiece. This playful activity helped enhance their sensory awareness and develop their fine motor skills.
In the Joeys Nursery Room (12-18 months) they crafted beautiful butterflies using cotton wool and coloured water. The children focused on their fine motor skills as they carefully used droppers to add watercolour to the cotton wool.
To celebrate Diwali, the Joeys also got creative by making their own “fireworks”! Using materials like paint and paper towel holders, they eagerly explored different colours and textures, bringing a festive burst of joy to our centre.

During November, the Koalas children had a blast participating in a musical class called “Happy Feet.” They dressed up as superheroes and enjoyed singing and dancing along to upbeat superhero-themed songs. It was a fun and energetic session, with the kids embracing their superhero costumes and bringing the music to life through their enthusiastic moves and joyful voices. The class was filled with smiles and laughter as they showcased their creativity and energy in true superhero style.
