Aspire Mambourin’s Open Day Extravaganza!
The Mambourin community got together on Saturday the 1st of February to celebrate Aspire Mambourin’s Open Day event! The Aspire team organised such a wonderful event to showcase the newly-opened centre.
There was so much for the whole family to do at Mambourin’s open day event. It was a cuteness overload with cute baby rabbits, guinea pigs and chicks from the team at Animals on the Move. The children and adults alike loved taking the time to pat and cuddle with the sweet animals.
There was more animal fun with pony rides out the front of the centre. Two gorgeous ponies, Blossom and Bubbles transported very excited children around in the warm weather. The horses also loved getting cuddles and pats from the event guests as they ate delicious hay and lounged in the shade.
Three spectacular face painters created masterpieces on the faces and bodies of the event guests. From Bluey to unicorns, to Princess Peach and Bowser, there were many gorgeous designs running around the Aspire Mambourin centre.
The highlight of any Aspire Open Day event is the guest entertainment. At Aspire Mambourin, guests were delighted to meet Mario and Luigi of Nintendo fame! They played a few favourite games and songs, including Animal Freeze as well as Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes. Then there was a quick Q&A with Mario and Luigi. It was cute to hear the children ask their burning questions about their adventures. The children were extremely excited to meet their video game heroes, and a few parents were even more excited. Attendees took time to take photos with the duo, and many hug and high-fives were exchanged.
