Aspire Early Education Donnybrook offers an exciting and unique three and four-year-old Kinder program at the service. With a focus on building strong relationships with both children and their families, our Kindergarten program is designed to lay a solid foundation for lifelong learning and success. Our mission isn't just to educate, but to nurture and support the development of every child who enters our doors.
Aspire Donnybrook’s kinder program offers a range of different learning experiences and activities that support numeracy and literally skills, emotional and social development, physical growth and prepare them for their first year of school and beyond.

At Aspire, we introduce STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) concepts at as the children transition into Kinder age. Children who engage with STEM topics from a young age are often better prepared for more complex concepts as they grow older. STEM activities often involve hands-on projects, teamwork, and communication. These activities help children develop essential skills such as collaboration, creativity, and resilience.
To learn about maths concepts, the 3-year-old Kinder children recently participated in a counting bears activity. Counting bears provide a tangible way for children to learn fundamental math concepts such as counting, addition, subtraction, and sorting.
By manipulating these objects, children can visualize and understand abstract mathematical ideas more concretely. Handling and arranging the bears also helps develop fine motor skills.
The 4-year old kinder children recently conducted a colour running science experiment, which helped them learn different science concepts. Guided by their teachers, the children mixed vibrant colors and watched as they moved through different materials. This hands-on science activity not only sparks curiosity but also teaches important concepts like diffusion and chromatography. It helps kids develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills while making learning fun and interactive.
At Aspire Donnybrook, they also have home corners spaces in their kinder rooms that spark imaginative play. Today in the home corner, the children were busy pretending to cook tea, stirring up creativity and imagination! It was lovely to see them making connections with their peers, sharing ideas, and learning through play.
Imaginative play offers many benefits for young children, contributing to cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth.
At Aspire Donnybrook, we now run two incursion programs for the Kinder children including Little Sports Heroes and Magical Jenny. Little Sports Heroes is sports program that creates a fun way to incorporate the basic skills of movement through different activities such as throwing a tennis ball into baskets, kicking a soccer ball into a net and more. Engaging in physical movement helps promote growth and development in the children’s fine and gross motor skills, hand eye coordination and body coordination.
Magical Jenny Incursions are an opportunity for our children to engage in song, dance and stories. Recently Magical Jenny came to the centre and did a book reading session with the children followed by a colouring experience on different templates.
This activity helps improve the children’s literacy and creativity skills, and also their social skills from participating in a group experience.
