Aspire Cranbourne North’s Open Day Event!
On Saturday 14th September, our upcoming Aspire Early Education Cranbourne North centre held their Open Day Event for families and the community! Although it was a rainy and windy Saturday morning in Melbourne, we still had a blast with families who came, our Aspire staff and some exciting special guests!
It was a great opportunity for families to explore our centre and meet our Cranbourne North Centre Manager Nirosha, the rest of our management team, and some of the educators who will be teaching in the rooms.
We are so excited to officially open another Aspire centre in the Cranbourne community soon. Discover more about some of the fun we had over the weekend at the opening of our Aspire Cranbourne North centre!
The Cranbourne North Open Day was packed with activities for children and adults of all ages. We had three talented face painters from Rosa’s Dazzling Faces who brought each child’s creative ideas to life, transforming them into unicorns, tigers, fairies, and more. It was heartwarming to see the children’s smiles as they admired their new looks—and even a few parents joined in!
Adding to the excitement, Aussie Wildlife Displays brought along a variety of scaly animals. Guests had the chance to hold non-venomous snakes both big and small and observe some very scaly but beautiful lizards. The Aussie Wildlife team was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating facts about the animals.
The photo booth was another big hit, with guests enjoying silly photo sessions using a variety of props and costumes. We even caught some staff members taking a group photo together!
Our friends at Little Sports Heroes kept the energy high with a range of fun sports activities including mini basketball hoops. Although the weather was wet, this didn’t stop the children from having fun and practising their sporting skills! Even if the parents were trying to hide under the shelter.
With the weather being a bit dreary, the coffee van was a welcome addition. We are grateful to Sam and Emily from Mr and Mrs Espresso for joining us and helping to make the event a success.
And lastly, our amazing Aspire Chefs cooked up a feast for families, who were able to sample some of our tasty and nutritious Aspire menu. On offer was delicious chicken pasta, fried rice, fruit and vegie platters, muffins and more! What a yummy addition to the Open Day, and a sneak peek into some of our Aspire menu.
Joining us at our Cranbourne North Open Day were Special guests Woody and Buzz from Toy Story! This is the first time we’ve had the pleasure of Woody and Buzz join us at our Open Day events, and you could not wipe the smiles off the children’s faces! Families were also able to take photos with the pair, with many of the children beyond excited to meet their favourite Toy Story characters. They also played some groovy music and some fun games, that had everyone involved and smiling!
