Aspire Cobblebank’s Fun Kinder Excursions

At Aspire we believe it’s important for children to connect with their local community. That’s why we take our children on excursions to explore their local environment, connect with nature and learn about different local businesses. These excursions and community experiences also help enhance the children’s learning, interests, and social skills.
Aspire Early Education Cobblebank run regular excursions to various locations with their neighbourhood, providing the opportunity for the children to explore their local community. Discover more about some of their recent excursions the children have participated in!
DeAnn’s Supermarket

Our Cobblebank Kinderr children recently went on an excursion to DeAnn’s Supermarket, located in Cobblebank Place. This excursion provided an opportunity for the children to explore the fruit and vegetable shop and learning about a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. The Toddler children have been focusing on introducing healthy food into their learning curriculum and at meals time. Each week they focus on one topic allowing children to feel, identify, name, and taste different types of fruits and vegetables. Exploring the supermarket, gave the children a real-life experience of what they learn in the classroom.
This excursion also focused on enhancing children’s understanding of the concepts of "stop" and "go," which was previously introduced during Road Safety Awareness Week.
Atherstone Traffic School

As part of Aspire Cobblebank’s Kindergarten program, children go for regular excursions to expand their learning opportunities. Recently children in the 4-year old Kinder room visited Atherstone Traffic School to build on their understanding of the road safety. The traffic school provides a fun and engaging space to develop important road safety skills and gain confidence on bicycles, tricycles and scooters. It consists of intersections and signage to mirror the features of a real traffic experience in a safe environment for young children.
This excursion was a great opportunity for the children to learn about the road signs and how to be safe and confidence around roads.
Cobblebank Stadium

Aspire Cobblebank acknowledges that physical activities are vital for young children’s health and development. To provide children with different opportunities to participate in physical activities, the Kinder children went on an exciting excursion to Cobblebank Stadium. Here they participated in fun sporting games while having fun with their peers and educators.
This excursion is not only a fun experience for the children, but helps improve physical skills, as well as their social skills and teamwork with others.
Nature Walks and Playground Fun

On a regular basis, the Cobblebank children go on nature walks to the local park and playground. These nature excursions are aimed at connecting the children with nature and fostering an appreciation for the natural environment. It also provides the opportunity for children to experience the outdoors and explore their surroundings.
The Kinder children love visiting the local playground and playing on the swings, slides and ropes. Participating in these nature and outdoor excursions throughout the year offer an experience that benefits their learning, growth and development.
Aspire Cobblebank is proud of the excursion programs they run at the centre, and the benefits it provides for the children. If you wish to learn more about the programs at Aspire Cobblebank, book a tour of the centre online or enquire now.
