Aspire Bendigo, Kennington – 2023 Moments
As we bid farewell to 2023, Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten Bendigo takes a moment to reflect on the incredible year that has passed – a year filled with fun, trust, community support, and heartwarming moments that have made our centre a truly special place for both children and families.
One of the most heartening moments this year was when a mum shared with us that she wouldn't consider sending her children anywhere else. She expressed that Aspire is more than just a childcare centre; it's a second family. The trust that families place in us is something we cherish deeply, and it motivates us to continually provide the best care and education for the little ones who grace our classrooms.
Our dedicated team at Aspire is the heartbeat of our centre, and this year, their commitment and camaraderie have shone brightly. At our recent staff Christmas party, a remarkable 24 out of 27 team members joined in the festivities. It truly was a celebration to remember. The unanimous sentiment was that it was the best party yet, a testament to the strong bonds and positive spirit that define our Aspire family.
The support from our local community has been nothing short of amazing this year. Our community events throughout the year have garnered tremendous popularity, bringing families together and fostering a sense of togetherness. A highlight has been the Bendigo Easter Extravaganza! With plenty of chocolate and even a visit from the Easter Bunny, it was a massive hit with the community.
We also held a Bendigo Educator Networking Night in May. The night allowed local educators to undertake some free personal development, as well as meet other educators from the area. Teachers heard a presentation from Phoenix Support for Educators about ‘Supporting and guiding children’s wellbeing and behaviour’. It was a great night of meeting and greeting and personal development.
The unwavering support from the community not only strengthens our ties but also reinforces the fact that Aspire is an integral part of the Bendigo community.
One of the standout stories of the year comes from Claudia, a beloved team member. Claudia shared her favourite memory, recounting the joy she experienced in witnessing the growth of the children in her care. The relationships formed with both families and children went beyond the classroom, creating a sense of belonging. Claudia highlighted the significance of the little moments, like one of her students telling her, “I love you Claudia, you make the whole day feel better.”
As we wrap up 2023, Aspire Bendigo is filled with gratitude for the moments that have made this year extraordinary. The love and trust from our families, the strong bonds within our team, the incredible support from the community, and the heartwarming stories of children's growth and happiness remind us about what this is all about.
