Aspire Bella Estate’s 1st Birthday Celebration!
On Tuesday 14th January, Aspire Bella Estate celebrated their 1st Birthday anniversary! It has been an amazing 12 months for the centre since opening at the beginning of 2024. The team wanted to celebrate this milestone and invited staff, families and their community connections to join them at the centre for a special morning tea event.

Last week Aspire Bella Estate celebrated their 1st Birthday event and held a delicious morning tea at the centre. There was some yummy food including (insert food).
The centre also had a very special visit from Paw Patrol’s Chase and Sky. The children were amazed to see some of their favourite television characters and gave them adorable hugs and hi-5’s! They also got to take some photos with the pair, which will be a great memory for the parents now too.
After the visit from Paw Patrol, the team were fortunate to have a Smoking Ceremony by the Bunurong People. The Bunurong people are Aboriginal Australian people who are part of the Kulin nation and have lived in southeast Victoria for tens of thousands of years. It was a powerful and truly special smoking ceremony, we hosted a powerful Smoking Ceremony at the centre that embraced cultural learning, connection, and joy.
Aspire Bella Estate were thankful for such a wonderful morning with their staff and families and are excited for the year ahead! See some pictures below of the event!.
The first big event for Bella Estate last year was of course their Open Day event, which was a fun day of activities, delicious food and meeting new families. Throughout 2024, the centre hosted many other events including a Community Morning tea, Easter, Diwali, Chirstmas parties, and Kinder Graduations. They also celebrated numerous awareness awareness days where the children participated in fun activities including Book Week, Science Week, Nutrition Week, Children’s Week and more!
During Term 3 and 4, Bella Estate also implemented in-house incursion programs which were run by some of the staff at the centre. These included a fortnightly cooking incursion program, a sports program, and a music and melody incursion. These programs were much loved by the children, and were great inspiration for some of our other Aspire centres.
And of course, the highlight of the year for the team was their win at the Aspire Awards Gala in October! The team won the “Leader in Innovation Award” for their amazing Outdoor Piazza Program. This program saw the team creatively use their outdoor piazza space to set up different experiences that enhanced the children’s learning, creativity and development. As a newly opened centre, it was a huge achievement and one that the team was very proud of!
Throughout the year of operation, Aspire Bella Estate has formed many strong connections with the local community, making a name for themselves in the Clyde community. They have relationships with the local primary schools including Clyde Creek Primary school, Cardinia Primary School and Ramlegh Primary School. They also have a connection with the local Woolworths who provide weekly fruit baskets to the team as part of their Healthy Eating program.
Recently the team also worked with Bunnings Warehouse in Clyde North, who helped them name their eight rooms after beautiful native plants, with input from the parents as well. Bella Estate is excited to continue to build more connections within the community this year.
