A Jolly Good Time at Aspire Clyde North’s Christmas Market

The community got together on Friday the 22^nd of November to take part in Aspire Clyde North's Christmas Market. There was so much fun and festive cheer, and even an exciting DJ booth and dance floor!

There were many different stalls and vendors at the Christmas market with something for everyone! It was the perfect way to get the Christmas shopping out of the way early.

Stalls selling fabulous jewellery, yummy sweet treats, and dress-ups filled the event space. As well as that, vendors offering cute baby outfits, toys and homewares made for great gifting options. One of the stalls even sold gifts specifically for teachers and educators!

A big thank you to all of our wonderful vendors who made the event as special as it was.

Another big highlight of the event was the delicious food options available. A variety of food trucks and food vendors were a massive part of how great the market was. One of the hits was the fairy floss cart. As any parent knows, kids love the sugary goodness of fairy floss. The snow cone cart and ice cream truck were also especially popular, given how hot the evening was.

One of the favourites of the night was the pizza station, where guests watched a talented pizza chef make pizzas in front of them. It made for an especially entertaining pre-dinner performance. Shout out to the team at Eclipse Pizza for their delicious food!

The centre also made sure that guests were safe from the heat, providing a cold water station with ice, and a sunscreen and first aid station. Providing these necessities ensured that attendees were well looked after in the hot weather.

Fun for the Kids!

There were plenty of fun activities for the kids too. One of the main favourites was the face painting. A team of talented face painters transformed the children, and young at heart, into some amazing characters. The event saw pirates, dragons, fairies and even Spiderman running about.

One of the awesome Aspire Clyde North team members shared her incredible hair braiding skills and offered them to guests. There were certainly some fancy hairstyles at the event by the end of the night.

Most exciting of all was the DJ and dance floor! They were playing a range of festive favourites, as well as many children’s favourites. Baby Shark was a massive hit! The families spent lots of time boogying on the dance floor, it was great to see everyone enjoy themselves.

All in all, Aspire Clyde North’s Christmas Market was a massive hit and a fantastic way to finish off a wonderful year at the centre. Thank you to everyone who made it a resounding success!
