The Deanside community brought in the summertime at the Aspire Early Education Deanside’s Summer Fun Fair event. The Summer Fun Fair was an exciting event for children young and old, and was a great way to spend a hot summer’s day.
There were so many fantastic activities for attendees at the Deanside Summer Fun Fair! Children and adults alike had a wonderful time participating in the many fun games and activities.
As the sun was out and the weather was hot, the water play zone was very popular. The children cooled down in the mini pools and challenged themselves by scooping plastic balls out of the water with nets. By the end of the event, the children were splashing each other and squealing with delight!
The disco room also had lots of squeals and laughter. Funky music played as children danced and sung around the room. They played favourites such as Baby Shark, Don’t Stop the Feeling and the iconic Macarena. Two very special guests visited the disco room midway through the event. The magical Elsa and powerful Wonder Woman swung by the centre to create joy for the children. Guests didn’t hesitate to take the opportunity to take photos with the pair. It was magical to see their excitement when meeting these two special characters. It was undoubtedly the highlight of the day.
The food was delicious as well as diverse. Guests enjoyed awesome food from the kebab truck and the centre-run sausage sizzle. The most popular by far was the ice cream van, selling icy-cold sweet treats. The line was down the road at one point!
All in all, it was a wonderful afternoon with a great community feel. Despite the hot weather, many families gathered and had an amazing time with the Aspire Deanside team at their Summer Fun Fair.
