Meet Maree - Aspire Huntly's New Centre Manager!

We are excited to introduce Maree the new Centre Manager at Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten Huntly!

Previously the Assistant Manager at Aspire Huntly, we are proud to announce her well-deserved progression into the Centre Manager role. Maree brings over 15 years of experience in early childhood education, along with a strong background in business leadership and a passion for building meaningful relationships, supporting Educators and creating positive learning experiences for children.

A Wealth of Experience in Early Childhood Education

With more than 15 years of experience in the early childhood education sector, Maree has worked across a variety of Educator and leadership roles, developing a strong understanding of what it takes to create a supportive and engaging early learning environment.

Throughout her career, she also took the opportunity to explore a different professional pathway, working as a Regional Business Development Manager. This experience allowed her to further develop her business, management and leadership skills, which she now brings to her role as Centre Manager.

Holding a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, Maree combines her passion for early learning with valuable leadership experience to support children, families and Educators.

As a Centre Manager, she believes that building trust is essential to creating a positive centre culture where families feel welcomed, children feel secure and Educators are encouraged to reach their full potential.

She is particularly passionate about mentoring and supporting Educators, helping them grow in confidence, strengthen their professional skills and continue developing in their careers.

Maree also loves creating engaging learning environments where children feel safe to explore, ask questions, take risks and develop a lifelong love of learning.

Getting to Know Maree Outside of Aspire

Outside of her role at Aspire, Maree is a proud mum of three and an even prouder nan of two!

Family is incredibly important to her, and she loves spending quality time making memories with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoys exploring new places, catching up with family and friends, and finding reasons to laugh every day.

Known for her positive energy and fun-loving personality, Maree is always happy to get involved in the children's activities, whether that's dancing, singing, imaginative play or sharing a laugh.

"I believe learning is best when it's filled with joy, connection and a little bit of silliness!"

Her enthusiasm and willingness to join in the fun reflect her belief that early childhood education should be filled with happiness, meaningful connections and opportunities for children to express themselves.
