Wow, what a day! Our Christmas Community event at Aspire Cranbourne East welcomed almost 300 families for a fun, festive and slightly magical day. Even a bit of rain couldn’t stop the fun, it even made things a little more cosy!
The Gingerbread Man, our cheeky Elf and Santa were a huge hit. Kids loved chasing them around, giving hugs, and posing for photos. Honestly, it was impossible not to smile watching everyone so excited.
butterflies, deer, Christmas decorations, Grinches, and everything in between! While the lines were long, our roaming characters and other activities kept everyone entertained. A big shoutout to our brave little ones for the reptile encounters too! So many wide eyes, so many giggles, and so many excited “Look at this one, Mum!” moments. The DJ kept the music lively and our food trucks made sure tummies were happy. Families loved the mix of activities, the festive vibe, and just being part of a fun, community-filled afternoon.
Yes, we had a bit of rain, but it didn’t dampen the spirit. We quickly moved a few activities under cover, kept families comfy, and made sure all the entertainment went ahead safely. Our staff and entertainers were absolute stars, keeping everyone smiling no matter what.
Photos and feedback show just how much everyone enjoyed the day. From character interactions to music, to the variety of activities, it really felt like a proper seasonal celebration.
