Easter Fun at Aspire with Crafts, Egg Hunts and Bunny Visits!

Throughout the month of April, our Aspire centres have had an egg-citing time celebrating Easter! From colourful egg hunts to bunny and egg-themed crafts and Easter bunny visits, the children had so much fun this Easter season!

Check out some of the amazing Easter-themed activities, room transformations and bunny visits across our centres.

Easter-themed Activities and Experiences

At Aspire Clyde North, the 3-year-old kinder children had a wonderful time making their own Easter Bunny baskets by painting, pasting googly eyes, and adding their special touches. It was a fun-filled activity that sparked imagination and developed their fine motor skills. In the toddler room, the little artists created Easter posters by decorating bunnies using cork painting. With dabs of pastel colours and lots of giggles, the children explored patterns, textures, and creativity while getting into the festive spirit.

The Toddler children at Aspire Truganina were buzzing with anticipation as they prepared for a joyous Easter celebration! With brushes in hand and vibrant paints spread out before them, they dived into the fun of colouring Easter eggs. This delightful activity not only sparks their creativity but also nurtures their fine motor skills, enhances their hand-eye coordination, and fosters social connections as they work together.

At Aspire Bella Estate, the kinder children also had a wonderful time making their Easter crafts. Children used recycled cardboard sheets to create colourful Easter eggs. They painted and decorated their eggs with glitters, pom poms, paint and markers, showing their amazing creativity. This fun activity helped them learn about recycling, colours, and enhanced their fine motor skills.

The little learners at Aspire Donnybrook were also busy preparing their very own Easter hats — adding feathers, sparkles, bunny ears, and plenty of creativity! These fun, hands-on activities are helping children express their individuality while developing important fine motor skills and a sense of celebration.

These were only a handful of some of the amazing Easter activities across our centres!

Transforming the Learning Rooms

To get into the Easter spirit, many of our centres also decorated their rooms and learning spaces.

Aspire Clyde North centre was blooming with beautiful Easter decorations, created by our little learners and educators. From colourful eggs to fluffy bunnies, every corner of the rooms was filled with festive cheer and creativity. Check out some of the photos below!

At Aspire Ramlegh, the toddler children were busy setting up a delightful Easter-themed learning area, filled with fun and colourful opportunities to explore through play and creativity. In their festive new learning space, the children have been strengthening their fine motor skills—gripping, sorting and creating as they explore the Easter theme through hands-on play.

Egg Hunts and Bunny Visits

And of course, it wouldn’t be Easter without a fun Easter egg hunt for the children! Many of our lovely educators set up a wonderful egg hunt in the outdoor yard of our centres. The children had their easter egg baskets ready and had so much fun searching high and low for colourful Easter eggs! Their excitement, teamwork, and giggles made it a joyful experience for everyone.

At Aspire Pakenham, they also didn't want the Nursery children to miss out, and set up an egg hunt experience for them to enjoy! The team used colourful shredded paper to hide the eggs, creating a fun sensory experience for the babies as they explored the textures and searched for hidden treasures. What a fun and cute experience!

Many of our centres also had a special visit from the Easter Bunny! It was a joyful experience for all the children with many hugs, high-fives, and LOTS of smiles. Some centres even had the beautiful Alice in Wonderland join the Easter bunny for a centre visit.
