Early Learning at Aspire Baldivis’ Nursery Program

Aspire Baldivis’ nursery program provides a nurturing environment for children aged 6 weeks to 2 years to learn and grow. The Baby Steps Nursery Program has a play-based learning approach, allowing little ones to explore the world around them. The babies at Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten Baldivis have many opportunities to connect, learn and grow.

Spending time outside has benefits regardless of age. The littlest kids at Aspire Baldivis have been enjoying short adventures outside in the coolness of the morning.
They have loved sitting under the shade and playing with sensory toys and watching the world around them. The children have especially loved the fresh air and watching birds, insects, and other animals scurry by. Being outside also allows for more messy play, including water play on hot days. In the hot weather, the children have loved playing in the sprinklers and splash pad!
Being outside in the fresh air benefits babies by boosting their immune system, improving sleep patterns, and enhancing respiratory function. It is also a great way for them to socialise and develop an early appreciation of nature.
The babies at Aspire Baldivis are lucky enough to take part in incursions at the centre. A favourite is when the exuberant team from Jazzie Shazzies visits. Jazzie Shazzies is an interactive music, dance, singing & movement class designed for children in the early years. For the nursery room, this includes a lot of sensory fun including bubbles, pom poms and fun music.
Each program is created to align with the Early Years Learning Framework and support children's emotional, social, and physical growth. Check out the smiles and laughter that Jazzie Shazzies brings to the nursery hub!
Sensory play is a key part of encouraging the development and growth of babies. Senses are a powerful tool for little ones to learn and grow. With our six senses, sight, hearing, smell, taste, movement, and touch, there is a world of learning opportunities.
At the Baldivis centre, the nursery children had the best time exploring baby-safe, edible paint! Made out of water, food dye and flour, it was a fun art experience for the children. It was also a great sensory activity, developing their senses of touch and taste.
Other favourite sensory play activities at the centre include water sensory trays, playing with instruments, tummy time, finger painting and peek-a-boo.
Aspire Early Education Baldivis’ nursery program is multifaceted and promotes growth and development in a number of ways. Exciting incursions, sensory play and time in nature connect to create a well-developed curriculum at Baldivis. If you’d like to learn more about Aspire Baldivis, click through the links below.
