Meet our Centre Manager
Hello, my name is Brit, and I am the Centre Manager at Aspire Early Learning Bendigo! I have been working the in the Early Childhood sector for 9.5 years and I hold a Diploma of Early Childhood, Certificate III in Children’s Services, and a Certificate II in Business. My favourite part of my role is understanding the effect and influence that early childhood education can have on young children’s lives. I strive to provide an inclusive environment to support each child and their family and cater to meet their individual needs. Through building positive attachments, I can ensure that each child feels confident and comfortable to explore and learn.
I am extremely passionate about high quality early childhood education and strongly believe that all children should be provided with the same equal learning opportunities to quality education. I love researching and am always eager to learn, I am currently enrolled at Uni, studying a Bachelor of Early Childhood. I have always been extremely interested in brain development in young children, understanding that the critical period for brain development and growth is within a child’s first five years. Within my teaching, I draw upon theory to guide curriculum decision making to enrich children’s learning and meet desired outcomes and developmental milestones for all children.
My favourite inspirational quote is: “In learning, you will teach and in teaching, you will learn” – Phil Collins.
